Compliance Officer - Intermediaries (Full-Time)
Julius Baer is seeking a Compliance Officer for Intermediaries in Zurich to serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for matters related to intermediaries and introducers within the Private Banking Compliance Team. The ideal candidate will have a college degree and 3–5 years of experience in the field of compliance, as well as knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment, particularly in the area of AML.
Tasks
- As a member of the Private Banking Compliance Team, you will serve as a dedicated center of expertise and compliance contact for matters related to intermediaries and referrers.
Requirements
- A completed bachelor's degree (preferably in law, economics, business administration, or a related field)
- 3–5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or compliance-related roles at financial intermediaries (asset managers, family offices)
- Knowledge of the Swiss regulatory environment, particularly anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and documentation standards
- Proficiency in MS Office and a knack for IT
- A strong personality with good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure, as well as excellent analytical, team-oriented, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prepare concise evaluations, combined with a strong sense of integrity and discretion in the banking sector
- Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus
