Compliance Officer, Communications Monitoring (m/f/d)
Zürcher Kantonalbank is seeking a Compliance Officer in Zurich to join the Control Room team and oversee communications monitoring, managing risk in the areas of independent fund analysis and capital markets trading. This full-time position requires professional experience in the compliance field, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements and the monitoring of electronic communications.
Your tasks
- Risk Management in the Areas of Independent Fund Analysis, Trading, and Capital Markets
- Compliance with regulations governing independent financial analysis
- Compliance with market conduct rules and rules governing the handling of inside information, as well as reporting and disclosure requirements
- Contributing to Fair Trade
- Work at the Heart of the Capital Markets and Stock Market Trading
- Understanding of economic relationships and the interests of market participants
Your profile
- A college degree, a technical college degree, or comparable training with professional experience
- Professional experience in the compliance field at a bank or financial institution, ideally in communications monitoring, financial crime, or market conduct
- An understanding of modern communication platforms and the importance of recording and monitoring electronic communications or commercial activities
- A solid understanding of the relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FINMA, market conduct and conduct rules, data protection, and banking secrecy)
- A strong affinity for IT systems and data, as well as excellent German and English language skills
- Strong interest in business and research topics
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills, as well as communication tailored to the audience
- Ability to critically examine complex communication flows and independently assess them from a legal perspective
- Excellent written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
