COMPLIANCE OFFICER / MLRO AMS
Leonteq is seeking a Compliance Officer / MLRO for its Amsterdam office, who will be responsible for KYC processes, transaction monitoring, and compliance with Dutch, European, and Swiss regulations. The position requires at least five years of compliance experience in the Dutch financial sector, as well as fluency in Dutch, English, and German.
Tasks
- Responsible for carrying out all relevant activities assigned to a Compliance Officer and MLRO under all rules and regulations applicable to Leonteq Securities AG, Amsterdam branch
- Conducting client reviews and KYC procedures
- Monitoring client transactions and compliance with Dutch, European, and Swiss legal requirements
- Development and review of risk assessments and compliance monitoring programs, such as AML, internal policies, and MLRO rules
- Documentation and Life Cycle Management of Relationships
- Support regarding the implementation of group-wide policies and relevant standards
- Assistance with compliance reviews and reporting obligations
- Compilation and preparation of the necessary documentation for internal and external audits
- Support for other core compliance tasks
- Support Group Compliance on Audit-Related Topics
- Compliance reviews and responsibility for local reporting obligations
- Implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to identify, manage, and track risks taken
- Communicating with senior management regarding the risks identified during the course of action
- Evaluate the processes at a highly skilled company
- Manage a sophisticated network of relationships with customers and develop expertise in the mechanics of structured investment products
- Maintain offices in prime locations
Requirements
- Law or economics degree
- At least 5 years of compliance experience in the Dutch financial sector and in a role involving significant exposure
- Proficient in Dutch domestic legal and regulatory requirements and the European legal framework
- Active interest in capital markets and the relevant regulations
- A dedicated and responsible individual with a strong team-oriented attitude
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Native Dutch speaker with business-level proficiency in English and German
