Compliance Officer, Regulatory & Policy Management

Tasks

The position of Compliance Officer, Regulatory & Policy Management includes the following tasks:

• Supporting the Head of Regulatory Compliance in establishing and maintaining regulatory relationships with local regulatory authorities
• Communication with regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors, and coordination of regulatory inquiries
• Support in managing regulatory risks and advising business units and infrastructure departments on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal guidelines
• Monitoring, evaluating, and advising on new or revised regulations in Singapore and working with the business to ensure compliance
• Maintaining the matrix for regulatory obligations in Singapore and coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:

• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills
• Good character traits with integrity, perseverance, persuasiveness, and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving skills, initiative, and decision-making skills
• Analytical ability in risk assessment
• A bachelor's degree is required, with at least 5 years of experience.
• Good knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment
• Experience in communicating with the MAS and other regulatory authorities is desirable.
