Compliance Officer, Regulatory & Policy Management

Job description

The CRO department develops and monitors the global framework for risk identification, control, reporting, and management within the risk tolerance for the various business activities, with the aim of achieving sustainable growth for the company.

Tasks

The tasks include:

• Supporting the Head of Regulatory Compliance in establishing and maintaining regulatory relationships with local regulatory authorities
• Communication with regulatory authorities, internal and external auditors, and coordination of all regulatory inquiries
• Supporting the management of regulatory risk and preservation of the corporate franchise by advising business units and infrastructure departments on compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies and procedures in Singapore

Requirements

The requirements include:

• Excellent interpersonal and persuasive skills
• Good character traits with integrity, perseverance, persuasiveness, and teamwork skills
• Problem-solving skills, initiative, and decision-making authority
• Good judgment and ability to work under pressure
• Analytical ability in risk assessment
• A bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of professional experience
• Good knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment
• Experience interacting with the MAS and other regulatory authorities is desirable.
