Compliance Operations NP 80–100%

Tasks

• Operation of national and group-level Level II WW compliance processes
• Collaborating with junior and senior staff on the operational teams; the main challenge is correctly identifying risks that the bank must manage in accordance with internal and regulatory guidelines and their reporting procedures as part of compliance processes
• Involvement in a variety of complex regulatory areas, including, among others, market abuse, corruption offenses, financial market supervision, and sanctions
• Responsibility for compliance monitoring of various digital systems, as well as the associated analyses and reporting procedures
• Handling various ad hoc tasks (special projects, regulatory inquiries, compliance overview)
• Responding to any inquiries arising from control or audit procedures or external sector risk inquiries

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in economics or a related field, preferably with banking training
• Education and Experience in Financial Market Regulation
• Broad legal understanding and knowledge of the key areas of financial market supervision and Swiss minority shareholder law; experience in identifying structural and institutional risks
• Occasional business trips, which generally take place both domestically and abroad for the purpose of meeting with clients and third parties, as well as their advisors, regulatory officials, and government representatives
• Native-level proficiency in German and a very good understanding of English
• Familiarity with the current and constantly changing environment; quick comprehension, analytical skills, resilience, and a team-oriented approach to collaboration
