As a Compliance Specialist at UBS, you will support the company in managing risk by ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards and conducting independent risk assessments. You will be part of a team of 30 Compliance Officers in Carouge, Geneva.

Your role
- Support the company in managing risk
- Identify unusual business relationships and monitor risk assessments
- Are you responsible for compliance with current legal and regulatory standards
- Advise management and client advisors
- Perform second line of defense activities related to AML risks (including SAR filings)
- Ensure risk frameworks are well designed and working effectively
- Create independent risk assessments and reports that shed light on our risk profile
- Provide business management with controls, tools, training, frameworks, information and insight required to manage risk
Your expertise
- Swiss degree in law or economics
- Ideally 2-4 years of experience in a compliance, legal or risk function
- Analytical, with the ability to find pragmatic solutions
- Results-oriented and assertive (you are not afraid to make difficult decisions)
- Strong communicator, team player
- Reliable and resilient (challenging situations may arise)
- Fluent in French and English, German is an advantage
