missions

You will be responsible for regulatory, statutory, and project accounting within the Finance Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks on behalf of our Bank’s Finance Department.

• Preparation of regulatory statistics (Swiss GAP): Ensure the monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of financial statements and regulatory statistics provided by FINMA and FIRA (preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements, statistics, and publications, including FIR5 for the Curoa Group)
• Main responsibilities or tasks:
  • Continuous monitoring of CRSAABS status (equity), FIRWIA reporting, and internal capital planning for the group
  • Active involvement in the planning and oversight of annual reporting
  • Taxation / VAT: Monitoring tax-related issues and filings
  • Responding to requests from the Finance Department Help Desk: Daily tasks shared among all accounting staff members
  • Take turns performing daily checks: Daily tasks shared among all accounting staff members
  • Optimizing accounting processes: Taking a proactive approach to optimize existing processes, automating time-consuming tasks, and improving tracking and analysis dashboards to enhance reporting performance
  • Participate in the project to update the statistics

Candidate criteria

• Minimum educational requirement: 2 years of post-secondary education / 2nd year of university
• Education / Specialization: Federal Certificate or equivalent qualification in accounting
• Minimum experience: 5–10 years
• Experience: At least 3 years in a similar position
• Knowledge of banking accounting and Swiss standards, with strong technical, financial, and analytical skills
