Litigation advisor
The position of litigation advisor at BCV involves managing a portfolio of problematic loans and representing the bank in court. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Swiss Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act and experience working in a debt collection and bankruptcy office.
Vos missions
- Manage a portfolio of distressed loans, using a divestment or forced liquidation strategy, in compliance with laws, rules, and internal guidelines, with the aim of achieving restructuring and recovery objectives.
- Activate and optimize the realization of real estate guarantees, in particular by encouraging private sales, so as to avoid repossession by the bank, in compliance with compliance rules.
- Identify economic opportunities for divestment by prioritizing transactional solutions that respect the bank's legitimate interests and compliance rules.
- ensure substitution in the processing of requests from debt collection and bankruptcy offices,
- represent the bank and defend its interests before judicial authorities (courts, justices of the peace, debt collection and bankruptcy offices, etc.),
- contribute to the training process of employees by involving them in credit portfolio management, sharing knowledge and interpersonal skills with them,
- Ensure the bank's image is maintained in both professional and private spheres.
Votre profil
- in-depth knowledge of the LP (Law on Debt Collection and Bankruptcy),
- experience in a debt collection and bankruptcy office with the award of a certificate of general training in enforcement in debt collection and bankruptcy matters,
- holding a federal certificate as an expert in debt collection and bankruptcy law would be an asset,
- perfect command of French (spoken and written),
- Knowledge of English and/or German would be an asset.
