Consultant, Procurement (Reporting & Analysis)

The Procurement Consultant (Reporting & Analysis) at Northern Trust will perform in-depth analyses, create dashboards, and manage spend analytics tools to support category planning decisions. The ideal candidate will have 6-8 years of experience in business, supply chain management, or finance, as well as knowledge of reporting and analysis.

Tasks

  • Carry out in-depth analysis and create dashboards to support decisions in category planning and improve efficiencies within procurement processes.
  • Take responsibility for donation analytics and procurement tools as well as KPI dashboards
  • Identify hidden data patterns and present them to the management team
  • Take responsibility for the procurement donation dashboard, scorecard, and automation projects, and work toward process standardization through industry best practices using VBA, Power BI, SharePoint, and Power Apps.
  • Understanding data and performing descriptive and predictive analyses
  • Collaborate with multiple business units and global category managers to transition from reporting to data analysis, thereby increasing the insights and capabilities of onshore category teams

Requirements

  • Completion of a degree (graduate/above degree)
  • 6-8 years of experience in business, supply chain management, or finance and/or in reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement lifecycle
