Content Manager

The Content Manager develops and produces leadership content for various audiences and channels to support Man Group's strategic objectives. They are responsible for the creation, publication and distribution of content and collaboration with various teams.

Job description: Content Manager

Tasks

  • Develop and produce long-form and short-form leadership content across various media (articles, videos, infographics, market insights, press releases and social media posts)
  • Oversee the editing and publishing process; collaborate with business teams, including investment, compliance, design, digital and marketing teams/alliances
  • Monitor productivity with Man Group's content management, compliance and data visualization/chart design software
  • Work with the Head of Content to develop a content strategy that supports marketing campaigns that drive the organization's strategic objectives
  • Developing compelling content ideas that highlight the value of our investment proposition
  • Ensure content reflects our brand voice and message
  • Editing and curating for our institutional, wealth and intermediate client segments, with a growing understanding of the level of sophistication and nuance of each audience
  • Provide insightful, data-informed recommendations to maximize the impact of content across promotional channels
  • Stay up to date on relevant financial news

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in investment marketing and investment leadership content writing for an investment manager or hedge fund
  • A university degree at BSc/BBA level or higher with a GPA of at least 3.0
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders; experience working across marketing, investment, legal and product teams
  • An up-to-date knowledge of and a strong interest in financial markets, investments and economics
  • Excellent attention to detail, as a copy editor and in reviewing charts/analytical analysis
  • Intellectual curiosity and creativity, with the ability to translate technical concepts into simple, clear and concise messages for different media types
  • Monitoring experience preferred; to ensure Man Group speaks to its diverse audiences in their voice; ability to work across teams internally

Desired qualifications

  • A conversational mindset, with deep experience in marketing equities, fixed income and alternative asset classes and across mutual funds, internal funds, ETPs and custom SMAs
  • Extremely driven, self-motivated, high achiever with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach; a proven ability to self-assign, effectively manage multiple projects, stakeholders and competing objectives
  • Data literacy: ability to use data to create data visualizations and increase the use/effectiveness of content and campaign strategies/calls
  • Understanding of US and international regulatory requirements/regulations

Salary and benefits

  • Anticipated base salary range: $100,000 - $150,000 USD
