Content Manager
As a Content Manager at Man Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing content strategies to strengthen the firm's presence in the US. You will create and edit content for various target groups, such as institutional, wealth and intermediary clients, and support marketing campaigns.
Job description: Content Manager
Tasks
- Creation and production of long-form and short-form leadership content, including articles, infographics, market insights, press releases and social media posts
- Manage the editing and publishing process; coordinate with business teams, including investments, compliance, design, digital and channel marketing teams
- Develop skills with Man Group's content management, compliance and data visualization/short design software
- Work with the Head of Content to develop a content strategy that supports marketing campaigns that drive the organization's strategic objectives
- Developing compelling content ideas that highlight the value of our investment proposition
- Ensuring that content reflects our brand voice and message
- Customize content for our institutional, wealth and intermediate client segments, with a growing understanding of the level of sophistication and nuance of each audience
- Providing data-driven recommendations to maximize the impact of content on different promotion channels
- Updating relevant financial news
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in investment marketing and investment thought leadership writing for an investment manager or large fund company
- A university degree at BSc/BBA level or higher with a GPA of at least 3.0
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to influence stakeholders; experience working across marketing, investment, sales and product teams
- Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in financial markets, investments and economics
- Excellent attention to detail, as a copy editor and in reviewing charts/numerical analysis
- Intellectual curiosity and creativity, with the need to transform technical concepts into simple, clear and concise messages/convincing stories
- Experienced editorial judgment to ensure Man Group speaks to its various audiences in their voice; ability to generate press interest
- Commercial mindset, with deep experience in marketing/public relations, fixed income and alternative asset classes as well as mutual funds, internal funds, ETFs, strategies and SMA's
- Accuracy-driven: self-motivated, achievement-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative approach; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and competing priorities
- Data literacy: ability to use data to create data visualizations and increase content usage/effectiveness and suggest strategy shifts
- Understanding of US and international regulatory requirements/regulations
Benefits
- Anticipated base salary: $150,000 - $175,000
- New York salary range: $160,000 - $176,000 USD
