The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Control Execution Support Specialist for a 9-month assignment. The ideal candidate will act as a generalist with a deep understanding of compliance and risk, and will be responsible for implementing and monitoring controls. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree, has experience in compliance, risk, or audit, and possesses strong organizational skills.

Control Execution Support Specialist (m/f/d) - Temporary (9 months)Tasks
- Implementation and monitoring of controls for ad hoc confidentiality obligations and self-certifications by staff, excluding investigations and follow-up until the matter is resolved
- Proactive assessment of compliance risks by reviewing adherence to conflict-of-interest rules and personal trading restrictions
- Preparation and presentation of periodic reports on audit findings, issue reporting, and progress on corrective actions to compliance leadership and relevant oversight committees
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in law, economics, business administration, or a banking-related field)
- Professional certification or a degree in compliance would be an advantage
- Several years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or audit role
- A strong personality with good organizational and operational skills and the ability to work under pressure
- An independent, efficient, and meticulous approach to work
- Solution-oriented, with strong analytical skills and a deep sense of integrity and discretion
- Perseverance and tenacity
- Proficiency in MS Office and an affinity for IT
- Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
