The position involves managing the operational and administrative aspects of a business unit, leading project-based initiatives, and ensuring the implementation of the business unit’s strategy. Responsibilities include:- Working with and supporting the Head of COO Asia Business Management
- Preparation of key reports and presentations
- Coordination of events
- Management of business-specific processes
KEY FEATURES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
The position involves the following tasks:- SME for Processes and Tools:
- Initiatives to improve and optimize processes at COO Asia
- Use of technology and tools for process improvement
- Run-the-Bank:
- Support in the design and implementation of projects, guidelines, and regulatory requirements
- Tracking the account opening pipeline and providing data-driven insights
- Streamlining the account opening process through communication between front and back office
- Change the Bank:
- Managing and requesting budgets for multiple work streams and locations
- Supporting and implementing projects to execute the Bank/COO strategy
- Support for the implementation of regional strategic change projects
- Reporting:
- Preparation of reports on account opening, name screening, KYC periodic review, and remediation
- Development of management dashboards for tracking COO Asia services
- COO, Asia Management Support:
- Support in planning and implementing the COO Asia strategy
- Preparation and consolidation of slides for management updates
- Support for improving employee satisfaction and retention
Requirements
The position requires:- A keen observer with strong logical skills who can understand situations, concepts, and people
- A results-oriented approach with a strong focus on delivering results
- Degree in business administration, finance, banking, economics, or an equivalent field
- 3–5 years of professional experience (preferably in private banking/wealth management, internal or external consulting)
- Strong financial and commercial expertise, along with the ability to understand and support business models
- Experience using tools and technology to support analysis and problem-solving
