The position of Core Banking Application, Senior Analyst involves providing expertise in computer systems, with comprehensive technical knowledge of all phases of the system lifecycle. Responsibilities include the analysis, development, and support of such systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities include:

• Project work in research, analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and system implementation
• Completing tasks on time to meet operational and performance requirements
• Communicating with business users to gather and verify requirements
• Translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements, test plans, and training materials
• Formulation and definition of the system scope and objectives; development of procedures for solving complex problems, taking into account equipment capacities and limitations
• Asking questions to understand the scope and scale of the need and to assess the effort required
• Participation in review meetings with business sponsors, other stakeholders, and IT development
• Preparation of detailed program specifications
• Executing test cases, identifying and documenting issues, errors, or other impacts on systems
• Participate in integration tests and proactively assist users in executing IJAT cycles by documenting solutions in a bug tracking tool
• Communicating with business users to collect and analyze production errors and collaborate with the product vendor on production support and new development initiatives
• Maintenance of banking applications in production and support for tasks necessary to resolve production issues in a timely manner
• Supporting the change management process by documenting requests, assessing the business impact of changes, and evaluating their effects on project commitments
• Ensuring that the performance and quality of products meet established company standards, guidelines, specifications, and customer requirements
• Providing best practices and expert guidance to internal users and other system staff
• Compliance with all anti-money laundering laws, bank secrecy laws, and KYC rules and regulations, as well as the bank’s BSA/AML policies and procedures

Requirements

The requirements for this position include:

• Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in project implementation/management
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry, experience in private banking
• 5+ years of experience with T24 core banking systems
• Knowledge of the retail and investment sectors
• Experience in implementing and supporting third-party software packages, as well as troubleshooting and resolving issues
• Experience with .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Java, and Eclipse
