Core Banking Application, Sr Analyst

Job description

The position of Senior Analyst for Core Banking Applications requires a high level of expertise in computer systems, including comprehensive technical knowledge of all phases of the system lifecycle. The employee performs tasks related to analyzing, developing, and supporting systems.

Tasks and responsibilities

The duties and responsibilities include:

• Complete project assignments in research, analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and system implementation
• Collaborating with business users to gather and verify business requirements
• Translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements, test plans, and training materials
• Formulation and definition of the system, its scope and objectives, as well as the development of methods for solving complex problems
• Participation in review meetings with business sponsors, other stakeholders, and IT development
• Preparation of technical documentation using the SDLC methodology
• Development of detailed specifications for programs
• Executing test cases, identifying and documenting problems, errors, or other failures

Requirements

The requirements for this position are:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
• 3+ years of experience in project implementation/management
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry; experience in private banking is a plus
• 5+ years of experience with T24 core banking systems
• Knowledge of trade and investment
• Experience in implementing and supporting third-party software packages, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Java, and Eclipse
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish is desirable
