Core Banking Application, Sr Analyst
The Senior Analyst for Core Banking Applications is responsible for the analysis, development, and support of computer systems and works closely with product vendors and business analysts to ensure successful project planning, development, and implementation. The candidate should have extensive experience in the development and support of core banking systems, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The position of Senior Analyst for Core Banking Applications requires a high level of expertise in computer systems, including comprehensive technical knowledge of all phases of the system lifecycle. Responsibilities include the analysis, development, and support of such systems.Tasks and responsibilities
The main duties and responsibilities include:- Project work in research, analysis, design, coding, testing, troubleshooting, and system implementation
- Completing tasks on time to meet operational and performance requirements
- Communicating with business users to gather and verify requirements
- Translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements, test plans, and training materials
- Formulation and definition of the system scope and objectives; development of procedures for solving complex problems, taking into account equipment capacities and limitations
- Participation in review meetings with business sponsors, other stakeholders, and IT development
- Preparation of technical documentation in accordance with SDLC methodology
- Development of detailed specifications for programs
- Executing test cases, identifying and documenting problems, errors, or other failures
- Support for the maintenance of production applications and the resolution of production issues
Requirements
The requirements for this position include:- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- At least 3 years of experience in project implementation/management
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry; experience in private banking is a plus
- At least 5 years of experience with T24 core banking systems
- Knowledge of the retail and investment sectors
- Experience with the implementation and support of third-party software packages, as well as troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Knowledge of .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Java, and Eclipse is a plus
- Experience with application testing, production support, and troubleshooting on various platforms
- Knowledge of web applications, databases, and network protocols
- Experience with source code and release management systems such as TFS, SVN, Git, and BitBucket
- Proficiency in modeling and mapping tools such as Visio and Enterprise Architect
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Portuguese and/or Spanish is desirable
