The Senior Analyst for Core Banking Applications is responsible for the analysis, development, and support of computer systems and works closely with product vendors and business analysts to ensure successful project planning, development, and implementation. The candidate should have experience in the banking or financial services industry and possess knowledge of core banking systems, such as T24, as well as programming languages such as .NET, Java, and SQL.

The position requires a high level of expertise in computer systems, including comprehensive technical knowledge of all phases of the system lifecycle. The employee performs tasks related to analyzing, developing, and supporting systems. As part of their daily responsibilities, the employee analyzes and resolves issues in production environments.Tasks and responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities include:- Project work in research, analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and system implementation
- Completing tasks on time to meet operational and performance requirements
- Communicating with business users to gather and verify requirements
- Translation of business requirements into functional and technical requirements
- Formulation and definition of system goals and objectives
- Participation in review meetings with business sponsors, stakeholders, and IT development
- Preparation of technical documentation using the SDLC methodology
- Development of detailed specifications for programs
- Hands-on experience in developing data-driven business applications
- Executing test cases and documenting issues
- Participating in integration tests and assisting users in executing IAT cycles
- Maintenance of banking applications in production and support in resolving production issues
Requirements
The requirements include:- Degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in project implementation/management
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry; experience in private banking is a plus
- 5+ years of experience with T24 core banking systems
- Knowledge of trade and investment
- Experience in implementing and supporting third-party software packages
- Experience with .NET, Visual Studio, SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Java, and Eclipse
- Experience in application technology, web development, system testing, and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of database modeling and administration, web development, system testing, and troubleshooting
- Fluency in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish is preferred
