Corporate Actions Operations Specialist - Fixed-term (1 year)

Tasks

The position of Corporate Actions Operation Specialist involves the following responsibilities:

• Responsibility for carrying out the duties of the respective role to ensure smooth operations of high quality, in accordance with agreed standards and objectives, and with a focus on risk management
• Contribute to the definition of new products/standards and their implementation within the respective function, as well as initiate the optimization of services/processes
• Processing of corporate actions (mandatory, voluntary, or mandatory with an option) within the required cut-off times while maintaining a certain level of quality
• Timely posting of all proceeds from corporate actions (cash/securities)
• Resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Ensuring the handling of customer inquiries and complaints related to all activities covered by "corporate actions," with the aim of providing appropriate and sustainable solutions while maintaining a strong customer focus
• Compliance with controls and procedures
• Reporting incidents to the appropriate controllers
• Maintaining contact with the Business Support Center, client account managers, custodian banks, other internal departments, and our subsidiaries to support clients and handle or track inquiries

Your skills and experience

The following skills and experience are required for this position:

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience in the back office in corporate actions and income
• Languages: English (written and spoken), German, French, Spanish, and Italian are a plus
• Experience with T24 systems is a plus
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Well-being in a constantly changing environment, with the ability and willingness to adapt
