Corporate Actions Operations Specialist - Fixed-term (1 year)

Julius Baer is seeking a Corporate Actions Operations Specialist for a one-year fixed-term position in Luxembourg to support the processing of corporate actions and optimize related processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, is well-organized, and can work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Tasks

- Corporate Actions Operations Specialist - Permanent position for 1 year - Perform the duties of the role to ensure smooth, high-quality operations in accordance with agreed standards and objectives, while maintaining a strong awareness of risk management. - Contribute to the definition of new products/standards and their implementation within the respective function, as well as initiate the optimization of services/processes. - Process corporate action events: mandatory, voluntary, and mandatory with options, taking into account the necessary cut-off times and maintaining a specific level of quality. - Timely booking of all corporate action proceeds (cash/securities). - Reconciliation of discrepancies within the specified timeframe. - Ensuring the processing of client inquiries and complaints related to all activities covered by "Corporate Actions," with the aim of offering appropriate and sustainable solutions while maintaining a strong client focus. - Adherence to controls and procedures. - Reporting of incidents to the appropriate controllers. - Maintaining contact with the Business Support Center, client account managers, custodian banks, other internal departments, and our subsidiaries to support clients and process or follow up on inquiries.

Your skills and experience

- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. - Back-office experience in corporate actions and income. - Languages: English (written and spoken); German, French, Spanish, and Italian are a plus. - Experience with the T24 system is a plus. - Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Comfortable in a constantly changing environment with the ability and desire to adapt.
