Job Description
The position of Corporate Credit Risk Officer (Associate) involves supporting Nomura's Infrastructure, Acquisition Leveraged Finance (ALF), and Risk Solutions (corporate derivatives) franchises in EMEA. The role includes performing due diligence processes, portfolio monitoring, and assessing underwriting risks.Tasks
The primary tasks include:- Performing credit due diligence on new transactions, including business review, financial analysis, stress testing, and financial modeling.
- Close cooperation with the origination team.
- Active participation in credit discussions, challenging deal teams, and presenting credit opinions.
- Evaluation of transaction structures, prices, and syndication risks.
- Preparation of credit risk memoranda focusing on risks and mitigation measures.
- Briefing for senior management and communication with customers, if necessary.
Requirements
The most important requirements for this role are:- Confident credit analyst who is able to form and defend their own credit opinions.
- Valuable interface with the business and senior management.
- Flexibility to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of corporate finance concepts and cash flow loans.
