Corporate Governance Specialist, Executive Office, Full-Time (f, m, d)
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Corporate Governance Specialist to assist the Executive Office with corporate governance matters and coordinate the organization of Executive Board and GWMC meetings. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate governance, a university degree in law or a related field, and excellent organizational skills.
Tasks
- Support the Corporate Secretariat of the ExB/GWMC in all governance matters to ensure that the ExB and GWMC operate in compliance with regulations and in an effective manner.
- Coordinating the entire meeting cycle of the ExB/GWMC, including scheduling, preparing the agenda, documentation (minutes, resolutions, summaries), and following up on action items.
- Ensuring that all materials meet the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and compliance with guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Acting on behalf of the Corporate Secretary as needed, exercising sound judgment, discretion, and a thorough understanding of governance frameworks.
- Taking on various tasks and projects within the team, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and a hands-on approach.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, finance, or a related field; or a paralegal.
- Professional experience in corporate governance, company secretariat, legal affairs, compliance, or audit within the financial services industry.
- A solid understanding of and strong interest in corporate governance, regulatory matters, and organizational processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and editorial skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- A high degree of discretion, integrity, and reliability.
