Corporate Sector Strategist
As a Corporate Sector Strategist at ING in Amsterdam, you will analyze investment-grade issuers and prepare high-quality credit research reports. You will work closely with front-office and sales teams to provide in-depth insights into corporate and industry fundamentals.
About the Role
- The right candidate will be strategic, eager to advance their career, and will continue to develop their expertise in the credit and capital markets sector while meeting business needs.
- This role will be part of the Senior Credit Research team, working closely with the Front Office, the Credit Research Front Office Coordination Team, and the Credit Analysis teams.
- You will work closely with a small, experienced team, gaining valuable exposure and plenty of opportunities to develop your own area of focus.
- Our corporate credit research team focuses on investment-grade issues, publishing research on company and sector fundamentals and credit spreads.
- Client contact is an integral part of our work, involving close collaboration across Mid Capital Markets, Financial Markets trading and sales, and the Wholesale Banking sales teams.
- You will be part of ING’s Senior Credit Research team, providing leading insights and working in a close-knit, collaborative team environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Analyze investment-grade corporate issuers across specific sectors and geographic regions to assess their credit quality in a timely and accurate manner.
- Identify key parameters and changes, and provide high-quality credit research through notes, reports, and calls.
- Understand rapidly changing company fundamentals, including financial statements, credit metrics, and rating methodologies.
- A good understanding of local markets and various bond products to contribute effectively to research.
- Using data skills and knowledge of how to work with datasets easily and efficiently.
- Being able to see the bigger economic and market picture.
