The Country Head Protective Security is responsible for leading the protection and security program in Switzerland and works closely with internal and external partners to identify and mitigate threats to HSBC employees, premises, assets and information. The focus is on assessing and managing security risks and working with law enforcement agencies.

The opportunity
Country Head of Protective Security As part of the HSBC team in Switzerland, you will help us to manage and grow our business.Tasks
- Reviewing and implementing threat and risk assessments for Switzerland and aligning them with regional and global standards
- Manage relationships with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective threat assessments and information sharing
- Monitoring and implementing recommendations from law enforcement agencies and ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures
- Manage all elements of the threat security program in accordance with group standards
- Manage the security control room within the protection services function to effectively implement threat and vulnerability assessments
- Managing the deployment of close protection safety details on the road or in a compound to ensure close protection
Your tasks
- Ensure that law enforcement requests are in place for all Protective Security-related events and that protocols are followed
- Work with stakeholders and the HSUK Protective Security team to ensure that the physical security risk to the Bank and staff is appropriately managed; and maintain PIF capability
Requirements
- Experience in risk management or control
- Good knowledge of the threat landscape, including operational security practices (Mayer, Alecta etc.)
- Good knowledge of basic protective security disciplines
- Understanding of threat assessment techniques and procedures
- Ability to influence and prioritize when necessary
- Fluent in local language and English
