The opportunity

Country Head of Protective Security As part of the HSBC team in Switzerland, you will help us to manage and grow our business.

Tasks

• Reviewing and implementing threat and risk assessments for Switzerland and aligning them with regional and global standards
• Manage relationships with law enforcement agencies to ensure effective threat assessments and information sharing
• Monitoring and implementing recommendations from law enforcement agencies and ensuring compliance with group policies and procedures
• Manage all elements of the threat security program in accordance with group standards
• Manage the security control room within the protection services function to effectively implement threat and vulnerability assessments
• Managing the deployment of close protection safety details on the road or in a compound to ensure close protection

Your tasks

• Ensure that law enforcement requests are in place for all Protective Security-related events and that protocols are followed
• Work with stakeholders and the HSUK Protective Security team to ensure that the physical security risk to the Bank and staff is appropriately managed; and maintain PIF capability

Requirements

• Experience in risk management or control
• Good knowledge of the threat landscape, including operational security practices (Mayer, Alecta etc.)
• Good knowledge of basic protective security disciplines
• Understanding of threat assessment techniques and procedures
• Ability to influence and prioritize when necessary
• Fluent in local language and English
