Credit Administrator

The position of Credit Administrator in Hong Kong involves processing credit applications, conducting risk assessments and monitoring, and managing credit documentation. The ideal candidate will have a relevant academic degree and up to three years of experience in the credit area of the private banking industry.

Job description

The position as Credit Administrator includes the following tasks:
  • Performing credit application implementation and monitoring functions.
  • Performing file management, scanning, and secure storage of credit documents.
  • Daily reporting of overruns and preparation/review of credit control risk reports.
  • Familiarity with global and local policies, manuals, and relevant local regulatory requirements for financial services products.
  • Performing credit risk analyses and approvals (where applicable) for credit applications for new requests and annual reviews.
  • Processing inquiries regarding credit applications, credit product programs, approval conditions, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Credit Department to perform ad hoc tasks and other duties.
  • Conducting system tests.

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • A relevant bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, or a comparable field of study.
  • Up to three years of experience in the credit sector in the private banking industry. Individuals without direct experience may be considered if they demonstrate a strong willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of financial services products and local regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
