Credit Analyst (temporary, up to 7 months)

Your role

As a Credit Analyst (fixed-term position for up to 7 months), you are a flexible individual interested in asset valuation and developments in the financial markets, and willing to handle and process large volumes of data. You will support the Asset Loan-to-Value (LTV) team by analyzing structured products and funds to determine their creditworthiness. In addition, you will perform checks on the collateral pool within the bank’s Lombard book.

Your tasks

• Conduct a comprehensive risk assessment of the underlying assets in Lombard transactions
• Monitor market movements and news about asset classes and analyze their potential impact on the Lombard portfolio
• Monitor and Control Loan-to-Value Levels/Rules
• Make suggestions for improvement and help maintain data quality in IT systems

Your profile

• Academic background in finance/corporate finance or a related field
• Ability to read and understand corporate financial reports; knowledge of key ratios used to calculate credit risk analyses
• Initial relevant professional experience in credit and banking products (derivatives, bonds, loans, etc.) and knowledge of market risks are required
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and a high degree of responsibility
• Organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and flexibility and adaptability
• Fluent English; fluency in French or German is a plus
