Credit Officer (m/f/d)

Your challenge

• Supporting VP Bank client advisors in granting loans to clients and reviewing early repayment penalties
• Analysis and evaluation of loan applications (mainly Lombard financing) in terms of risk and profitability, and structuring in cooperation with customer advisors and the Group Credit Risk department
• Ongoing monitoring and safeguarding of the credit portfolio, with a particular focus on early warning processes
• Ensuring that loans comply with the VP Bank Group's risk policy and the local requirements of our accounting department
• Management and review of the loan portfolio of approved loan commitments, loan documentation, and limit and reporting obligations
• Maintaining proactive, cross-functional dialogue based on the daily screening function of the Group Credit Office within the VP Bank Group

Your profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a finance specialist in the Lombard sector in Switzerland and/or Liechtenstein
• Excellent analytical skills for identifying complex problems and preparing statements/expert opinions
• High degree of independence, flexibility and team orientation
• Competent and conscientious conduct toward both customers and internal departments
• Stylish German and very good English skills
