Credit Officer (m/f/d)

Your challenge

• Supporting VP Bank client advisors in granting loans to clients and reviewing pre-financing arrangements
• Analysis and evaluation of loan applications (mainly Lombard financing) with regard to risks and potential, and structuring in cooperation with the customer advisor and the Group Credit Risk department
• Ongoing monitoring and handling of problem loans
• Assuming responsibility in the credit approval process, ensuring that credit risk is kept within the risk policy of VP Bank Group and the local requirements of our Accounting Department
• Assessment and review of the loan portfolio with regard to loan extensions, loan clarifications, and review of limits and guidelines
• Maintenance of new positive, cross-functional data due to the closer interface of the Group Credit Office within the VP Bank Group

Your profile

• 3-8 years of professional experience as a finance expert in the Lombard sector in Switzerland and/or Liechtenstein
• Excellent analytical skills for identifying complex problems and developing structuring proposals
• High degree of independence, flexibility and team orientation
• Competent and conscientious conduct toward both customers and internal departments
• Stylistic German and very good English skills
