Credit Risk Reporting Analyst
Nomura is seeking a Credit Risk Reporting Analyst in London who will be responsible for preparing risk reports and committee materials for senior management. The role involves analyzing credit risk data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with various internal departments.
Tasks
- Prepare regular committee reports for senior management, the business, risk management, and regulatory/compliance (Challenge, Escalate, and Respect)
- Conduct data collection, consolidation, analysis, reporting, and communication of key risk information to ensure that senior management is adequately informed about the company's credit risk profile and key risk issues
- Preparation of materials and data for senior management committees on risk, including, but not limited to, CCR, SCR, RWA, LCR, LEH, DCF, etc.
- Summarizing and communicating key credit risk issues, emerging trends, and forward-looking perspectives related to the credit risk profile
- Determining credit terms and limits across the entire company and compiling committee packages
- Development and maintenance of credit risk tools and systems to support effective risk management
- Developing an understanding of credit risk frameworks, policies, and systems across the entire company
- Role as a subject matter expert (SME) for credit risk reporting requirements and as a liaison between Risk, Compliance, and Business
- Preparation and presentation of regular credit risk reports for senior management, the Executive Board, and other stakeholders
- Coordination of regulatory and internal audit reviews related to credit risk reporting
- Support for ad hoc requests as needed
- Support in implementing current regulatory and internal audit requirements
- Implementation of state-of-the-art reporting systems that were recently introduced in the company
- Process optimization in close collaboration with change management and digital transformation teams
- Close collaboration with other risk functions as well as the corporate governance and reporting teams

Requirements
- A proactive, hardworking, and flexible person
- Professional experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Visio, and particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of risk and compliance, including Basel II and III, as well as FRM and ACCA ACA
- Ability to optimize processes in close collaboration with change management and digital transformation teams
- Demonstrated strong cognitive abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to identify and seek solutions to highly technical problems
- Analytical skills and attention to detail, with proven experience in compiling and analyzing data to accurately prepare reports, presentations, and proposals
- IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills; ability to interact with colleagues and customers at all levels
- Bachelor's or master's degree in banking and finance, or equivalent, with a proven track record at a financial services organization
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills
- Studied SQL and Power BI; additional experience with Python
