The CRO Data Analyst position supports the Compliance department in Asia in analyzing data related to customer activities, transactions, and internal controls in order to minimize risk for the bank.

Your challenge

The role involves collecting and processing large amounts of data from various sources for use in analytical models.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Support in collecting and processing large amounts of structured and unstructured data from various sources for use in analytical models.
  • Analyzing large data sets related to customer transactions, KYC, AML, and sanctions screening to identify patterns, anomalies, or suspicious activity.
  • Support compliance monitoring activities by creating data-driven reports and visualizations.
  • Support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of automated monitoring tools and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide analytical inputs for investigations and regulatory inquiries.
  • Collaborate with IT and other relevant stakeholders to improve data quality, resolve issues, and optimize systems.

Professional and technical skills

  • Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced programming skills in SQL, R, or Python.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Previous experience as a data analyst in the financial sector or in a compliance-related role is a plus.
