Cross-Market Analyst (80%–100%)

Tasks

Your contribution:

• Analysis and interpretation of developments in the financial markets and their implications for monetary policy;
• Conducting quantitative projects to further develop analytical tools;
• Regular communication with relevant internal audiences;
• Drafting external communications (e.g., speeches) on financial market topics;
• Assisting with the operational implementation of the foreign exchange trader's monetary policy;
• Living in the Zurich area due to predictable evening and on-call shifts.

Requirements

Your knowledge and experience:

• A graduate degree (master’s or doctorate) in economics, econometrics, finance, data science, or a related field with a quantitative focus;
• Proven knowledge of programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, and/or R;
• Significant interest in financial markets and monetary policy;
• Creative thinking, proactive decision-making, and a meticulous and well-organized approach to work;
• Strong communication skills in German or French, as well as excellent English skills;
• Experience in financial market analysis is a plus.
