Crsilant, Automation Developer

Northern Trust is seeking an Automation Developer in Bengaluru with over 5 years of experience who will be responsible for production support, troubleshooting, and automation of financial services platforms. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of digital experience platforms and automation tools such as UiPath or Blue Prism.

Tasks

  • Ensure the effective day-to-day operation and responsiveness of production systems.
  • Resolve client-level and Tier 2 support issues for digital platforms and ensure high availability and timely resolution of incidents for customer-specific systems.
  • Monitor production events regularly.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues across the entire end-to-end process, including workflow management, data interfaces, platform components, and applications.
  • Proactively identify risks (availability, scalability, resilience) and the causes of problems.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely solutions to critical incidents.
  • Coordinate and mediate between customers and teams to ensure smooth coordination during incidents, customer interactions, and unforeseen events.
  • Manage and mentor support teams to effectively handle escalations, SLAs, and knowledge bases.
  • Provide support for technical training, reporting, and the analysis of operational metrics.
  • Contribute to automation and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the support process and networks.
  • Analyze, debug, and resolve technical issues across the entire end-to-end process, including workflow management, data interfaces, platform components, and applications.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in challenging situations, such as tight deadlines and high-stress environments.
  • Quickly understand business processes and translate them into complex, secure, and automatable steps.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's or master's degree in a technical field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience with digital experience platforms in the financial services or data processing sector.
  • Practical experience with major financial services platforms, large networks, and platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a cross-functional, global environment.
  • Certified in Agile Developer Foundation and Advanced.
  • Practical Application of Security Best Practices in the Financial Services Sector.
  • Development experience with other automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Blue Prism, Power Automate, UIPath) would be an asset.
