The position of CSO - PB Model Middle East in Geneva involves supporting client relationship officers and providing high-quality services to private and institutional clients. Job description

The position as CSO - PB Model Middle East Geneva includes the following responsibilities:
  • Supporting the CRO (Client Relationship Officer) in daily business activities and administrative tasks
  • Active contact with customers, both verbally and in writing
  • Providing high-quality service to customers (regular and prompt contact with customers by phone/email)
  • Opening, closing, and updating customer accounts (internet research, provision of supporting documents)
  • Preparation and follow-up of customer visits (account documentation, document review, account statements, etc.)
  • Execution and monitoring of all customer instructions (stock market transactions, payments, foreign exchange transactions, options, swaps, NDFs, etc.)
  • Various administrative and organizational tasks (customer checks, missing/delayed documents, delivery of mail, etc.)
  • Preparation of marketing materials (presentations/pitch books/investment proposals/portfolio reviews)
  • Promotion of paperless accounts and e-banking use
  • Compliance with the Code of Conduct and all internal regulations (e.g., cross-border, AML, clear desk policy, absence management)

Requirements

The following requirements apply to this position:
  • Commercial training at a bank or similar banking-related training, higher financial education
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a private bank
  • Good understanding of financial instruments (stocks, bonds, structured products, derivatives); knowledge of murabaha and reverse murabaha deposits and/or other Shariah-compliant products is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of compliance/AML issues
  • Good Windows Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Strong in account documentation in accordance with CDB requirements and knowledge of opening complex account structures
  • Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment and cope with a heavy workload
  • Ability to work independently and set your own agenda
  • Accurate and detail-oriented
  • Team player with a solution-oriented attitude and a pragmatic approach
  • Service-oriented approach with a hands-on approach to customer loyalty
  • Actively anticipates customer needs and solves problems with urgency and ownership
  • Proficient in spoken and written English. Arabic and French are an advantage.
