Cybersecurity Analyst
As a cybersecurity analyst at Leonteq in Lisbon, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing IT security, as well as assisting with incident response measures and automation processes. The job requires practical knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell, as well as a basic understanding of networks and operating systems.
Tasks
The position as Cybersecurity Analyst includes the following tasks:- Monitoring and analysis of security alerts (SIEM/XDR)
- Support with incident investigation and documentation
- Development of automation scripts with Python and PowerShell
- Collaboration on the adaptation of detection rules and security analytics
- Support with vulnerability management and system hardening
- Assistance in preparing evidence for regulatory and audit purposes
- Responsible use of AI-powered tools to improve efficiency and code quality
Requirements
The following requirements apply to this position:- 1–3 years of experience in IT, development, or cybersecurity
- Practical knowledge of Python and/or PowerShell
- Basic understanding of networks and operating systems
- Familiarity with Git workflows and AI coding assistants
- Structured, analytical, and documentation-oriented mindset
- Fluent English
