Cybersecurity Project Coordinator
The Cybersecurity Project Coordinator will assist in the coordination and organization of cybersecurity projects, specifically in the areas of Identity & Access Management, Privileged Access Management and Data Protection. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and a salary between $61,500 and $93,300 USD.
Job description: Cybersecurity Project Coordinator
Tasks
- Project Delivery:
- Coordinates and organizes all activities of a project, identifies, defines and completes project activities
- Leads global teams consisting of employees and onshore/offshore vendors
- Coordinates teams consisting of technology engineers, solution architects and application owners
- Creates schedules and monitors progress towards project completion
- Interviews and collects data from internal partners and customers, analyzes and recommends improvement plans
- Collects facts, defines problems and creates documentation on specific processes and procedures
- Carries out system tests and plans implementations
- Interacts with all levels in functional and system support areas in the development of project activities
- Works with key business and technology stakeholders to define proposed project benefits and deliverables and ensure successful achievement through project completion
- Manages project team change management documentation as directed by the project manager/product owner
- Communication and stakeholder management:
- Schedules stakeholder meetings and facilitates communication between the project manager and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepares written documentation to support project status and decisions, writes procedures and trains staff on new processes and/or systems
- Promotes the project through presentations at various meetings, committees and participates in task forces
- Coordinates communication materials for the project
- Prepares and presents status reports to management, such as measurement reports, process improvement results and project objectives
- Identifies recurring needs resulting from a new system or process changes
- Identifies and researches conversion discrepancies, creates documents to resolve imbalances
- Financial management:
- Works with internal partners to develop cost-benefit analyses and determine recommended solutions
Requirements
- Cybersecurity project coordination experience - coordination and organization of cybersecurity projects related to Identity & Access Management (IAM), Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Identity Authentication and Authorization (IAA), Data Protection, Security Operations or Asset Surface Management
- Organizational skills - experience working within a matrixed organization to manage the delivery of complex projects involving multiple disciplines
- Problem solving skills - ability to handle ambiguous or complex problems, including the ability to identify creative solution paths and gain necessary alignment and support from leadership and stakeholders to arrive at the solution
- Expert communication skills - ability to articulate ideas and information orally and in writing for different audiences
- Initiative - shows initiative in proposal improvement and anticipating the needs of leadership, program stakeholders and members
- Organizational skills - can handle and prioritize multiple simultaneous work deliveries
