Data Analytics Consultant / Data Analyst (open to all genders)

Migros Supermarkets AG is seeking a Data Analytics Consultant / Data Analyst (m/f/d) for a permanent position in Zurich with the option to work from home. The successful candidate will address operational business challenges, support data-driven decision-making, and develop analytical prototypes.

Overview

The role of Data Analytics Consultant / Data Analyst (m/f/d) involves addressing operational business challenges, supporting data-driven decision-making, defining and calculating meaningful KPIs, developing analytical prototypes, and conceptualizing data-driven solutions.

Tasks

The tasks include:
  • Handling of operational business issues
  • Conducting data-driven analysis projects
  • Independent planning and execution of data analyses
  • Further development of methods and tools
  • Preparation and presentation of clear, actionable insights

Requirements

The requirements include:
  • At least two years of experience in conducting data analysis
  • Experience in applying statistical methods
  • A degree (from a university, ETH, university of applied sciences, or business school) in a quantitative field
  • Proactive approach
  • Conviction, making data-driven decisions
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of Python is a plus
  • Experience with data visualization tools
