Data and Reporting Analyst
The Data and Reporting Analyst is responsible for updating company databases, ensuring data quality and analyzing trade data. The ideal candidate will have skills in engineering, data visualization and coding.
Job description: Data and Reporting Analyst
Tasks
- Updating the company databases when new information is received
- Ensure data is properly cleansed and errors and failures in trade reporting and analysis systems are resolved
- Loading/managing items
- Collaboration with internal teams to respond to ad hoc requests
- Collaborate with business and technology teams to plan and implement system changes
Specific responsibilities
- Confirmation, updating, maintenance and cleansing of data
- Management of data sets; daily, ensuring accuracy of data and detection of discrepancies
- Support, generation and expansion of monthly and quarterly reports prepared by the fund
- Configuration and upload of portfolio/deal data to an external valuation agent
- Support for data access from CRM/portfolio management
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM subject with at least first or upper second class honors (or equivalent)
- At least 2+ years of experience in a data analyst/visualizer role
- Familiarity with financial markets within 1-2 years (or equivalent)
- Very numerate, with strong analytical and presentation skills
- Ability to write and communicate in a clear, precise and target group-oriented manner
