Data Associate Engineer - Enterprise Engineering
Man Group is seeking a Data Associate Engineer for its Enterprise Engineering team in London who has experience in databases and ETL development and is willing to contribute to the development and support of data platforms. The successful candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with MS SQL and Oracle, and knowledge of programming languages such as .NET.
Tasks
The role involves working as a Data Engineer/Developer on the Enterprise Engineering Data Platform team. Responsibilities include designing and developing systems, as well as leading projects. The work consists of a mix of expanding and supporting existing systems and participating in new projects.Requirements
The requirements for this role are:- 0–2 years of experience as an SQL Server/ETL developer
- Strong SQL skills, including the development of stored procedures, functions, and scripts using SQL Server and Oracle
- Experience with MS SQL, ETL development, MS SQL (UDF), or similar
- Practical knowledge of programming languages such as .NET
- Familiarity with data modeling
- Excellent data organization skills and the ability to work effectively with AI-powered development tools
- Familiarity with code reviews and code maintenance
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and communicate with stakeholders
- Ability to articulate knowledge and information and share ideas
- Ability to plan ahead and think things through in order to complete assigned tasks
