Tasks

• Responsible for the comprehensive management of the data center infrastructure, including planning, executing, and monitoring operational activities.
• Maintain the data center infrastructure to ensure that equipment, tools, and systems are operational and secure.
• Monitoring of daily operations, including power supply, cooling, and network systems.
• Coordination with suppliers and service providers for maintenance and upgrades.
• Monitoring and managing data center usage and capacity planning.
• Conducting regular inspections and preparing reports on performance and maintenance.
• Implementation and enforcement of IT and OT security frameworks.
• Participation in the planning of disaster recovery and incident response.
• Implementing and monitoring the management system; leading the team toward defined goals.
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and encouraging innovation and creativity.
• Developing and maintaining detailed project plans, establishing realistic timelines and milestones.
• Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators, identifying trends and bottlenecks.
• Managing the budget and resource allocation, ensuring cost efficiency and financial stability.
• Collaboration with departments to promote cross-functional cooperation.
• Minimizing risk by identifying potential vulnerabilities and implementing countermeasures.
• Compliance with security standards and policies; management of access controls.
• Providing strategic direction and defining long-term infrastructure goals and objectives.
• Monitoring infrastructure performance and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
• Implementing effective employee training programs and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Creation of a learning environment for maintenance engineers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
• Prepare clear handover documents for maintenance tasks and ensure that maintenance engineers are well informed.
• Organize regular meetings to provide feedback and discuss ways to improve maintenance efficiency.
• Documentation and sharing of information regarding maintenance activities and incidents for future reference.
• Conduct regular reviews of maintenance performance to identify areas for improvement.
• Promoting the adoption of new technologies and methods that can improve maintenance efficiency.
• Implement regular server maintenance schedules in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Monitoring environmental conditions in the data center to ensure they are optimized.
• Organizing scheduled maintenance outside of business hours to minimize disruptions to data center operations.
• Documentation and recommendations for additional maintenance tasks and areas for improvement.
• Recommending equipment upgrades or replacements; providing cost-benefit analyses to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with the virtualization team to define the scope of the VM data center and propose the necessary maintenance tasks.
• Collaborate with the Human Resources department to develop a training and development strategy for the data center.
