Data Engineer (80% - 100%)

Your contribution

• Further development and operation of a powerful, bank-wide data science environment for modeling, analyzing and processing economic data;
• Advising the specialists in the specialist departments on the implementation of their models and analyses in data processes;
• Participation in projects according to agile project methodology.

Your knowledge and experience

• University or university of applied sciences degree in data science or computer science (Master's or doctorate), very good knowledge of data engineering and software engineering;
• Sound methodological foundations in the areas of data management and data analysis as well as machine learning;
• Very good knowledge and practical experience in big and fast data technologies (Spark, Kafka etc.) as well as programming languages and frameworks commonly used in this area; ideally knowledge of the Cloudera platform and distributed applications based on Java;
• High customer orientation; strong ability and willingness to quickly familiarize yourself with challenging tasks and take on responsibility;
• Good communication skills (oral and written) in German or French as well as in English.
