About the role
Join our dynamic Data Analytics team and play a key role to drive business insights, operational excellence and data-driven decision-making, and innovation through Data & AI across the group. As a Data Engineer, you will report directly to the Head of Data Analytics, contributing to impactful projects that shape our business.
Tasks
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, provide data solutions, and handle ad-hoc data requests.
- Ingest, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including real-time data streams, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Perform statistical analysis, identify trends in data, develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance tracking measures.
- Create BI solutions, including automated reporting, dashboards, and visualizations for various functions across Sygrum. This includes establishing a state-of-the-art management information system (MIS) that drives data-driven decision-making.
- Develop advanced Data Analytics and AI solutions, such as predictive models, AI and GenAI applications.
- Be a key member of the Data Analytics Hub, and support Sygrum Data Analytics Community in various projects and tasks.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy, data-driven mindset.
- Interest and ideally first experiences in banking, crypto, and blockchain technologies.
- Experience in the Azure Technology Stack, Azure Data Services, and Azure Datalabricks, ideally recognized with certifications.
- Experience in ETL / LT pipelines.
- Extensive experience in Python (ideally including PySpark), any additional programming language is desirable.
- Experience with DevOps and CICD.
- Experience in database management and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).
- Understanding of machine learning, statistical analysis, AI and GenAI technologies.
- Ideally interest and first experiences in AI Agent Frameworks (e.g. LangChain).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
