Data Engineer – Banking and Regulatory Reporting (a)
aity AG in Bern-Liebefeld is seeking a Data Engineer (80–100%) for banking control and regulatory reporting who will manage data streams in Microsoft Fabric and legacy systems. The role requires experience in data management—ideally in a regulated banking environment—as well as banking expertise.
Tasks
- You want to work with data streams and use them to develop high-quality data profiles in Microsoft Fabric, as well as in our legacy applications
- You will implement complex joins and provide data to selected candidates from various data sources
- You transform and integrate data between core banking systems and our systems for further data processing (e.g., SAP)
- You monitor data flows throughout the entire supply chain and ensure a reliable data supply
Requirements
- You have extensive experience in data warehousing or data management, ideally in regulated companies and with cloud-based data platforms
- You have banking expertise, for example in the areas of financial planning, taxes, accruals, accounting, controlling, or risk reporting
- You understand complex system interrelationships and connections, and you handle sensitive data responsibly
- You're interested in modern, cloud-based data management solutions and would like to play an active role in shaping topics related to Microsoft Azure Fabric
- You have an open, solution-oriented personality and hold a bachelor’s degree, an associate’s degree, or have completed comparable continuing education
