Data Engineer
Migros Bank is seeking a Data Engineer (80–100% full-time position) to actively help shape the future of its analytics platform and to define, build, and operate data architectures and pipelines. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in data engineering and possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Tasks
You will support projects with their data needs and coordinate implementation with internal and external resources. You will define the design and implementation of ETL processes for analytical and operational users. You will integrate new data sources and model the data for use by end users.Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (university/ETH, teacher training college, vocational college) in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
- German (business fluent) and English (very good knowledge)
- Several years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data architecture
- Experience with data warehousing technologies (Oracle, including ODL and Dabricks)
- Experience with implementing data architectures
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data governance frameworks and best practices
