Data Engineer
Migros Bank is seeking a Data Engineer (80–100%) to design and operate its analytics platform, with the option to work from home and attractive benefits. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in data engineering and possesses strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Tasks
- Stakeholder-oriented design and implementation of ETL processes for analytical and operational users
- Supporting projects with their data needs and coordinating implementation with internal and external resources
- Connecting new data sources and modeling the data for use by end users
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in data engineering
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (university/ETH, teacher training college, vocational college) in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
- German (business fluent) and English (very good knowledge)
- Several years of experience in data engineering, data modeling, and data architecture
- Experience with data warehousing technologies (Oracle, including ODL, and Dabatricks)
- Experience with implementing data architectures
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data governance frameworks and best practices
