Data Engineer
Migros Bank is looking for a Data Engineer to play an active role in shaping the future of its analytics platform by defining, building and maintaining data architecture and pipelines. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in data engineering or data architecture and experience with data architectures, data warehousing and big data technologies.
Your challenge
- Design & implementation of blueprints for the data architecture of the future.
- Your hands-on mentality helps to implement developments/data engineer concepts
- You connect new data sources and model the data for use by end users
What you bring with you
- At least 5 years of data engineering or data architecture
- Completed studies (Uni/ETH, FH, Hf) in Data Engineering or Data Architecture
- German (business fluent), English (fluent)
- Several years of experience in data engineering, data modeling and data architecture
- Experience with the implementation of data architectures
- Experience in data warehousing, data lakes and big data technologies (Oracle, Azure, Databricks, etc.)
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for data governance frameworks and best practices
