Data Governance & Lifecycle Enablement Lead 80–100% (f/m/d)
Julius Baer is seeking a Data Governance & Lifecycle Enablement Lead (80–100%) in Zurich to drive the company’s data-centric strategy and establish frameworks for data quality and lifecycle management. The role involves leading the adoption of data management capabilities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a data-driven culture in collaboration with various business units.
Tasks
- Enabling Trusted Data for Regulatory, Operational, and Analytical Use Cases
- Work with the entire Data Management & Architecture team to drive company-wide frameworks for data quality and data lifecycle management
- Establish business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata standards, and ensure data quality and consistency
- Define standards, controls, and metrics to improve governance maturity and data quality
- Lead the implementation of data management capabilities
- Promote data literacy, stakeholder engagement, and a data-driven culture
- Ensure effective management of data from creation through retention to archiving and disposal
Profile
- A college degree in business informatics, computer science, banking, finance, or a related field
- Experience in data governance, metadata management, data quality, and data lifecycle management
- Experience with enterprise data catalog platforms such as Informatica, Collibra, or similar platforms
- Experience working with data management, metadata, and document management systems
- Strong knowledge of data lineage and an understanding of data curation
- Knowledge of data management tools (e.g., data catalogs, data governance tools, metadata management tools)
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to build consensus across business units
