Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Specialist (Full-Time)
The Data Leakage Prevention (DLP) Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing measures to prevent data leaks at Julius Baer and works closely with various teams and stakeholders to protect the company’s and its clients’ data. The role involves analyzing DLP alerts, communicating with employees, and continuously improving processes and workflows.
Tasks
The tasks include:- DLP Incident Triage and Communication: Analysis, triage, and classification of DLP alerts to identify potential data breaches.
- Operational Excellence and Process Improvements: Continuous improvement of DLP processes, playbooks, and workflows.
- Data Analysis, Insights, and Reporting: Analyzing DLP event data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Policy Enforcement and Controls: Ensuring the consistent application of DLP rules, policies, and control frameworks.
- Global collaboration and knowledge sharing: Collaborating with DLP functions and teams at international locations.
Requirements
The requirements include:- A strong understanding of banking business processes, including client-focused processes, internal workflows, and data flows.
- Experience in information security, risk management, compliance, data protection, or auditing, ideally in the financial industry.
- A structured, proactive, and detail-oriented approach to work, with the ability to manage operational workloads and improve processes.
- Experience working in international environments, with globally distributed teams, and adapting to different locations.
