The ideal candidate will have experience in data management, a college degree, and strong communication skills.
Job description
As a Data Management Specialist, you will lay the groundwork for Julius Baer’s strategic transformation and drive initiatives in the area of data management.Tasks
- Take on the challenge of driving this initiative forward during your maternity leave replacement assignment through the end of March 2027
- Helping to develop and monitor data management standards and processes
- Helping to develop and monitor bank-wide data product standards and processes
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent, preferably in the natural sciences, business informatics, banking, or finance
- Several years of experience in metadata management, data dictionaries, information architecture, data lines, reference data, and business glossaries
- Experience in the financial sector, banking sector
- Familiarity with data modeling and data management tools (data dictionary, data lineage, etc.)
- "Can-do" attitude
- Strong in collaboration and advocacy; building an effective stakeholder network across departments and regions
- Feeling comfortable with the challenges of the status quo and managing escalations at all levels
- A good team player who enjoys their work and naturally drives change
- Fluency in English and German would be an advantage
