Data Management Specialist 100% (Maternity leave coverage through September 30, 2027) (f/m/d)

Tasks

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to maintain and improve critical data assets, metadata catalogs, and business definitions
• Enable Data Domain owners and business stakeholders to consistently manage business glossaries, data dictionaries, and metadata
• Support regulatory and strategic initiatives that require the identification, documentation, and maintenance of critical data
• Create and maintain metadata, data lineage, and information about authoritative sources for key business data and data assets
• Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation to promote adoption throughout the company

Requirements

• A university degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in the fields of science, business informatics, banking, or finance
• Understanding of the principles of data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management, supported by relevant experience
• Knowledge of banking data domains and regulatory data requirements
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across business and technology functions
• Openness to questioning the status quo and driving change in a complex environment
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and a team player with a “can-do” attitude
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
