Data Management Specialist
The Julius Baer Group is seeking a Data Management Specialist (full-time position) to cover a maternity leave until March 31, 2027, to drive the company’s strategic transformation through effective data management. The ideal candidate has experience in the financial industry, data modeling and management, as well as strong communication and collaboration skills.
Tasks
- Taking on the challenge of advancing this initiative during the maternity leave replacement period through the end of March 2027
- Helping to develop and monitor data management standards and processes
- Helping to develop and monitor bank-wide data product standards and processes
- Close collaboration with representatives from front-office business units and supporting functions such as Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Enterprise Architecture, and IT
- Enabling and helping to design business data models in accordance with corporate, industry, and architectural standards
Requirements
- A university degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in the natural sciences, business informatics, banking, or finance
- Several years of experience in metadata management, data dictionaries, information architecture, data lines, reference data, and business glossaries
- Experience in the financial industry and banking sector
- Familiarity with data modeling and data management tools in general (data dictionary, data lineage, etc.)
- "Can-do" attitude
- Strong in collaboration and advocacy; building an effective stakeholder network across departments and regions
- Feeling comfortable with challenging the status quo and managing escalations at all levels
